Spent my twenties travelling around the world and now that I've stopped moving for a while, it'd be lovely to travel vicariously through others. I live in the sweetest little flat in the middle of Hastings - it's got a patio and roof terrace if you're one for coffee outside and a pull-out sofa amongst the jungle of my houseplants.

I'm a trainee teacher, which means you'll have to fend for yourself while I'm at work, but I'm more than happy to point you in the direction of some great activities while I'm out. When I'm around, I can show you some great spots locally and will probably insist you meet some of my pals.

You've probably gathered by now that I'm into food, coffee, travelling, socialising and plants which is pretty accurate, to be honest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I kickstarted my couchsurfing career in 2010 with a 3-month road trip in the USA, couchsurfing my way across and staying with 28 incredible different hosts. Ten years, countless countries and hosts later, I can see no reason to stop!

Finally, I've put some roots down for a little while in the seaside town of Hastings and would love to repay the kindness I've experienced.

Interests

The water, at any opportunity I'm keen to swim, kayak, paddleboard etc.
Food - cooking it, eating it, sharing it.
House plants - I'm working on building my own little Kew Gardens in my teeny flat.
Arts and crafts - always working on a little project - journaling, plant pots, greeting cards, macrame, mosaics, etc etc
