About Me

I am Luna, from Seoul. My flat is near Hongdae. I work as a freelancer-bookeditor, so usually at home.
I like sharing, learning, writing, cooking-experiments, intergrating what I learned, visiting my friends' places, and having the guests in my place.
I know I can understand myself better by sharing what I have with others. I love those moments of meeting.
Hmmm plus, I'd lived in Guatemala for 4 yrs before, so it's like my 2nd homeland. Every morning I make tortillas for my breakfast even in Seoul now. Sure, from cornflour.

***I accept CS-friend request just after knowing each other.
***I don't use CS as an instant messaging service, so don't expect my response to any simple Hi please.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling as a backpacker is a big part of my life. I've met a big part of my friends on the road.

Music, Movies, and Books

The scope of my favorites could be pretty wide. For example, from korean traditional music through Duran Duran to the minimalism composition of Steve Reich, from "The Lord of the Kings" through documentaries that treat a social issue to "Phantom Threads" (2017 film).
As for the books, I like anything which has the good story or seeds for a good story.
But sometimes I really like being without any music, any movies, any books. I mean that's also my favorite music, movies and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd never been in my homeland, Korea for 6 years. It helped me a lot understanding much more about Korea.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could share my knowledge with you, about Korean language, traditional cultures and recipes. (Vegan Kimchi is possible in my kitchen.) And something about Guatemala/Mexico as well if you like.
By the way I am opened to learn anything of yours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Homemade foods if the hosts allow me to use their kitchen.
Anything about Korea, such as language, tradition, politics, history, culture, and so on.
Time to listen to their own stories, which I prefer to the club party.
And I can consult my Mayan tools (it's called "tzite" in K'iche') about your questions if you want. That's one of what I learned in Guatemala.
