About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Desperatly trying to finish off my theisis

ABOUT ME

I've grown up in the Laurentides, in Québec where I studieds social work in college. I then had the opportunitie to go to Cameroon, wich was my first experience abroad. I also developped a major interest toward environment and travel, wich I did, by hitch hicking across Canada for a few months and to participate in a environmental project in Senegal in 2012.

Any who, I like to travel and meet people along the way, that's about it! Whenn I'll be done with my thiesis, that's pretty much what I intend to do!! HO! I also enjoy cycling pretty much, I did a cycling trip two years ago in the canadian maritimes, and I can't wait to do it again!

I like to hang out with friends, have a beer or two and spend time in good company.
I like to think that I'm a joyful guy who likes to meet new people and discover different cultures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to host but I'm quite busy with school so for now, I'm just contributing to a cultural exchange with people I'll meet as I'm traveling

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used CS in pretty much every trip I've made, in Canada, France, Spain and Morocco

Interests

I am genuinely interested in pretty much everything I don't know, as far as I can learn something! But regarding my own interest, I like cycling, especially for touring or for comuting in the city! Obviously, I like geography, but not in it's most known facet, maps, country and capitals, but geography as the evolution and interaction of the earth surface and how it is influenced by land use. It might seem geeky though! Ill be more than hayy to talk about it! I otherwise hate this section and dont't know what to write so it'll be a pleasure to meet and make something happen!

Music, Movies, and Books

super cliché guy who likes pretty much everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess that it's going on a nowhere, wandering all across Canada for 3 months.
OR
get on the University Ice caneoing team. That's pretty much the most intense thing I've ever done! Crossing the St-Laurent river in the middle of the winter in a canoe is pretty insane. If you've never heard of it, Youtube it!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a thing or two about gravel bed rivers haha! Otherwise, not that I can do much, but I can teach basic bicycle mechanic and give cyclotouring tips.

There are plenty of things I would like to learn though, starting with sailing. Since I went to the maritimes, I've been thinking of a long journey on a sailboat someday, and I can't keep it off my mind! Regarding some more accessible things, I'd like to learn how to play guitar. I've had one one for a couple of years and I can play a few chords, but I've never really gotten into it.
