Hi !

My name is Magali. I'm 32. I am a french primary school teacher.

I grew up in Normandie, in the country side. My parents' house is located next to a farm and I grew up surronded by farm animals. So I used to play with my siblings in the norman fields fill by horses, sheeps and cows.
My grandpa was a vegetables seller and a gardener. He transfered to us his love for the nature and the culture of the earth.

I am currently teaching in a french school. I love to explore other ways of educate children and also adults by discovering other countries and other ways of living.
So that's why I love to travel , meet new people and learn more about other human cultures and also different kinds of agricultural cultures.

I want to see different places all around the world so that I can build my own once I'll feel ready and experienced enough.
I would like to build a place where nature, culture and education would be in harmony and balance. A place where I could welcome people and share all the things I learned during my trips and where I could keep on learning from other people.
And I really think that the experiences I would live during my journey could help me in the reflexion of these big project of life I've got in mind.

I love to gardening. Being outside, hiking, riding my bike.
I started skating two years ago and I love it. Learning how to skate is one of the best experiences in my life.

I enjoy listen to music , all kinds. Unfortunatly I'm not a good player but I'd love to learn more about playing music.
I love to create, all kind of things: I paint, I draw, I make sculptures in papier mache, I like to tinker, I sew...
To put in nutshell: I like using my hands and having it busy.
But I also like enjoy calm and peaceful moments.
I also enjoy being with people, talk and share with them. Discover new cultures, other ways of life and ways of thinking.

I think relationships between humans are as rich and essential as the relations have to nature and other animals.

So, I love nature, animals and people.

I am vegan and I love cooking fore other people. It will be my pleasure to make you discover vegan meals and try to share with you my love for plant-based food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a good way to meet new people, new ways of living and new cultures.

I also like to share with people and I love this idea of getting from people and try my best to give them something in exchange.

I believe in relationships not based on money but on the things people have inside them and can share with the others. Couchsurfing is a good start when you think in that way.
