About Me

CURRENT MISSION

become an awesome teacher, learn Spanish, experience South America

ABOUT ME

I'm mostly a quiet, mild-mannered girl. Very patient and understanding. I am very interested in meeting new people and experiencing new things.

I think I'm funny, but then again I used to think I was a good dancer before I moved to Ecuador... so God only knows what I am anymore, jaja.

PHILOSOPHY

God, my family and my country are my top three most importing things. That doesn't mean I always agree with the politics in the US, it just means that I love my country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I don't have a spare mattress or bed, so I can't host anyone right now. I would be up for it in the future if at all possible.

For now, I'm happy to meet up with you if you are in the Loja area. Maybe for a cup of Canto Claro, lol.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with a couple awesome people, who have helped me to see Ecuasor for the amazing country that it is.

Interests

Working out/staying fit is really important to me. I used to run everyday, but I had to stop when I moved, so sad. Fortunately, I live in an incredibly blessed country, and there are so many beautiful places I can go and hike and enjoy the outdoors.

I hear a lot of stories about alien sightings and ghosts here in Loja. I'm kind of interested in seeing one if there are any paranormal enthusiasts in the area, hit me up.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love hip hop. I mean love. Wu-Tang, GZA, Ghostface Killah, Nas, Jay Z, Outkast, the Roots, Goodie Mob, Digable Planets, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Common, Madlib, MF Doom, Murs,Slug, 9th Wonder...

I like other genres too though, esp. Latin music. Buena Vista Social Club, Joao Gilberto... I like bachata music, I don't care what anyone says, and of course I love reggaeton!

Right now I'm reading a Langston Hughes book. It's really good, but I've been reading it for the past 2 months and it's only like 150 pages, so I guess you could say I don't read too much...I'm too damn busy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was first in my family to finish university, that's a big accomplishment for me. Other than that, I'd have to say leaving a good job and all the comforts of home to move to another continent and pursue my dream of becoming a teacher!

Countries I’ve Visited

Ecuador, France, Italy, Mexico, United States
