About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be aware what destiny has prepared for you. Never cling to anything that has to let go.

ABOUT ME

When I finished school with 19 I just had one dream. Leave my little conservative village and travel the world.
Although I found my personal favorite place in the Argentinian Patagonian Andes where I live since 2001 and I still use my free time to know new places.
There are many many jobs that I have done on my travels but mainly it was working in hostels and teaching English/German and Spanish.
I would describe myself as a very open and tolerant person, always patient and interesting listening to the experiences of life ( especially elder people ).
I love to live in communities, sharing space with others which means sharing happiness, trouble, sadness and this whole bunch of emotional mixes.
My big passion is to go trekking and whenever I have time I make a quick escape to the mountains. Nature fills me up with energy and keeps me in balance.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a gift!!!
We have to follow our own path and not be scared by the critics of the others.
I am convinced that for every person who is not clinging to security and materialism at the end is waiting his personal paradies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Life is sharing and interchanging opinions, experiences and philosophies. This is why I subscribed here. I guess it is easier and definitivly more profund to stay with a local as if sleeping in a hotel or hostel where you stick with other travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First experience in Shimla with a Brahman woman. It was a wonderful 10 hour conversation about all kind of topics about India which gave me a better insight in this fascinating culture. Looking forward to know much more interesting people through this fantastic proyect!!!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like quiet, slow music: Classical, Blues, Jazz, Boosa Nova, Tango
Could not imagine life without reading

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whenever I reach the top of a mountain I feel closer to the sky and with it i become a part of the whole.

Teach, Learn, Share

All the time life is changing. What was your absolute conviction with 20 can loose its importance.
Be open with those changes, they will never stop!
