I'm originally from New York, but moved to Jax. FL when I was 14. Now living in Virginia, but travel back to Florida yearly. I'm retired and ready to travel most of the time, but during 2019 I will focus on my local region. I love exploring Virginia, D.C. and West Virginia on day trips. I spend a lot of time helping others and I am a Progressive and a Resistor. I love hiking and long distance walking.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

To meet people and explore places I've missed during my lifetime. That and possibly return to a few I loved so much. People, people, people and places are my passion. Being retired means a smaller budget so couch surfing seems the perfect way to travel.

Interessen

Hiking, motorcycle riding (on the back), art galleries, architecture, history and film.
Just about anything really including food and cooking. No longer into drinking, but being with drinkers is not a problem for me so even wineries are interesting.
