Hi!! I'm Maria, a 21 year old girl from the beautiful Garda Lake, in Northern Italy. I always liked to travel and explore with my family, friends, or by myself :)
In July I will graduate in Cognitive Psychology in Trento University, and next year I will start a Master in Cognitive Neuroscience , since I want to be a researchers in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and I believe that the best way to get to know a new country/city and its culture is to stay with locals :)
When I was 17 I lived in Barcelona, Spain, during an entire year: I lived with a local Catalan family and studied in a local school, and that has been so far the best experience I had in my life!
I also lived for 6 months in Maastricht, in The Netherlands, for my Erasmus Semester, and while I was there I backpacked through Belgium by myself and I also vivisted Germany.

My favourite book is The unbearable lightness of being, by Milan Kundera, and the books of my heart are all the Harry Potter ones :)
