About Me

I try to respond to all the (hosting) messages, but if I can't, please don't take it personally, it just means I'm too busy at the time.
Also, please note that I am not available all the time for hosting, as I do many things myself, so I can't make long-term plans.

An experienced traveler, I never stop exploring, learning, reading, dreaming and creating. I'm very active, I have many interests and passions, I love freedom and diversity. Life is the road of constant
change and improvement, but I'm also embracing its beauty and moments of pure happiness, that can always be found in the little things around us.

CURRENT MISSION

To learn new things, meet new people and learn about them and their culture, country, languages, to socialize, help or getting help, broaden horizons, make friends and have fun.
I have a keen interest in other cultures :)

ABOUT ME

Crazy enough to think I'll change the world. Cliche, I know. BUT I have a plan for it! Change starts with myself, but other than that I am investing in talented people with great ideas that can change the world. Doing it for the big impact, not for the money. I'm also an educator, I promote financial education and personal development to a large public, online, offering free books, advice and help.
Webmaster, photographer, traveler, writer, idealist, humanist, adventurous dreamer :) Hopefully time will prove a visionary too...

I love the new, discovering and connecting, learning as much as I can.

I am not religious and I do not have any respect for religions. I have respect for people instead. We are all humans, religion or other things cannot and should not separate us in any way.

I'm a very active citizen, trying to change the mentality in my country and on the internet for the better; as an activist in politics, causes, human and animal rights, helping unite people for the good ones.
I believe people are and can be good, they just need a helping hand sometimes. That hand will shape the greater good of the world, and our evolution as humans.

Nature lover, I'm passionate, spontaneous, creative and adventurous (did I say that enough times?). Curious (sometimes too curious), open-minded, very communicate, I enjoy talking about everything and anything. Not the one for small talk tho. I'm pretty sarcastic and I love it. Big sense of humor, can't live without it.

I like to learn new things, to read interesting articles all day long, and I use the internet as a great source of information that is.

Not such a big fan of comfort. Sure, I do like it, but I can skip it.
I have a HUGE thirst for adventure! I love nature and exploring that unbeaten path.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn and create. Listen. Express. Always follow your dreams and never give up. I embrace change, as long as it is for the better. I love to innovate whatever I'm doing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to participate on CS both hosting and be hosted (tho I mainly host)

Interests

Curious, open-minded, progressive, agnostic, humanist. webmaster, photographer, traveler, blogger, adventurer.
I like to learn new things every day. I love to think big. I like to create, grow and develop, that is why I developed a network of websites, working as a webmaster. It is a challenge that keeps me doing it because I have to learn all the time in order to keep up.
I am interested in creativity, communication, photography ( I also am a part-time professional photographer). I love all sorts of topics, and I love to 'jump' from topic to topic, so I am interested in everything... interesting, no matter the topic.

Trying to improve myself and my life all the time.
I am very moved by good deeds and good people :)
I also love smiling, talkative people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not like action movies, I like movies that actually say something, interesting enough to keep me focused (like Inception, Django Unchained, Wicker Park, The Pianist, Godfather, A Beautiful Mind, The Shawshank Redemption, Interstellar, etc.),

inspiring movies like Forest Gump (no matter your problems, being active will get you through them),

Schindler's List (act based on your consciousness),

The Pursuit Of Happyness (if you really want something and you act based on that, you can do it),

Slumdog Millionaire (no matter your background, you still have a chance),

La vita è bella (learn from the horrors and get to be more emphatic),

The Theory of Everything (I'm a big science and big ideas fan),

Limitless, Inception (psychology and how the mind works is very interesting)

The Notebook, About Time, Serendipity, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Vow, Before Sunrise, Eternal Sunshine
of the Spotless Mind (the deep connection between lovers gives me goose bumps and it's something I always desired...)

The Walk (because I like to dare)

The Imitation Game (brilliant minds, people that change the world for the better inspire me a lot)

Midnight in Paris (as I always had a side for writing and imagining more)

50/50 - treasure your life and protect it.

Selma - fight for what's right, fight for your and other's rights.

Lion (2016) - impressed by the story. How adopting gives a chance to someone who had none.

Hacksaw Ridge - don't let others make you do bad things. Believe in yourself and your power to change for the good.

Hidden Figures - an inspiring story of the role women played in our great things, a role that is minimized. I am active in supporting equal rights.

The Founder - realizing what made the rich men rich. Realizing how not fair their ways are. Creating an empire is not a success story (as it is presented), it's only about money and greed. Taking this and using it.

12 Years a Slave - the slaves' story is always touching. It's a reminder of what people are capable of if we let them.

Unbroken (2014) - one's power in face of the evil.

127 Hours - showing how far we can go to save our lives.

I also like fantasy movies (you know, those like Lord of the Rings, Underworld, X-Men, The Matrix, Avatar, Van Helsing, Hellboy)

Not a fan of Sci-Fi, but I liked Interstellar, as I am interested in space and what's beyond. And also Edge of Tomorrow and Mr. Nobody, as the future is pretty interesting.

Animations as well, because I like cute stuff... and because they're pretty cool, like Nemo and Ratatouille, WALL·E, Rise of the Guardians, Kung Fu Panda, or inspiring in a cute way, like Valiant (the brave pigeon) and
The Tale of Despereaux (the brave mouse that is teaching us you're never to small to make a difference) , or pretty smart like Inside Out and Sausage Party . A Bug's Life, because it is so interesting to realize that smaller worlds exist, and how they work. I always try to save the insects.

I have a big passion for movies, so I basically watched most of them, especially the ones after 2010 (as I have a website with soundtracks, I watch every movie)

Recently I watch a lot of shows as well, because of the story that continues, and because you have enough time to get to know the characters, and really get 'inside' them.

Almost all my shows are somewhat historical (I like history, and to learn about what worked and what didn't), from the past - for me, recreating the world from the past is magical.
Documentaries like Barbarians Rising are an important lesson.

My favorite show is Boardwalk empire (not because I'm a gangster (heh), but because it's so well made, and the way the characters are exposed is brilliant - you really get to know them)

Marco Polo - I love to travel, adventures, discovering more than a city, and he is the greatest bravest traveler. The show is also well done. I also have his book, bought from his birth house (which is in Croatia, actually)

Sons of Liberty - changing the world means you act and make it happen. I am active and trying to raise awareness about the importance of politics and how they control our lives.

Hell on Wheels - a fan of western, as from chaos we can learn a lot

Genius and Da Vinci's Demons - get to know the great minds, how they fought for the greater good and for leaving a better world, having a mark on the world, changing it against the odds, how they sacrificed and created something better for generations to come.

Band of Brothers - the horrors of war are a great reminder on how precious peace is

Since I love and practice a sense of humor with a lot of sarcasm, all the time, I love South Park, the animation show. Also Rick and Morty.

The Sopranos - gangsters know how people work. we can use it against them.

The Borgias - see what religion is really about. If you didn't know yet...

The Tudors - history of the dictator kings is quite useful.

Versailles - how fashion started.

Music - all the genres, but mostly not rap or heavy metal.
Books - currently practical ones.

Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn fueled my thirst for adventures when I was a kid.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to appreciate things, so a lot of things are amazing :)
buuut this year, 2017, I jumped into lake Bled (Slovenia) to save bees that were drowning! twice. tho swimming wasn't allowed, sometimes you need to be a badass to make a difference (hahah). And you make a difference starting with small (but important) things...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you tips about creating, developing, promoting, advertising websites, webservers, content creation, Wordpress, network ads etc,
also about professional photography
What else...well...it depends on your interest. We can talk about anything, as I am open and have a broader general knowledge.
I have a car, and, usually, I share it with the guests, taking them to different places. If they're nice enough, of course hehe
Learning - oh yes, I love to learn interesting things. I don't like small talks. I'm pretty active and involved.

What I Can Share with Hosts
