ABOUT ME

He-ey, there,

My name is Marley, and I grew up outside of Vancouver, Canada. Because of that, I love being surrounded by mountains. I've spent most of the last year or two living out of my backpack, and haven't grown tired of it yet. During the summers, you can find me planting trees-- a typically Canadian job. As for the rest of the year... who knows?

Music, Movies, and Books

Books, books, books! I love books. When I get to a place that I've never been before, it practically requires a trip to the library.

As for music, I'm down for anything with a good beat (not that I listen to a lot of music-- I'll throw that out there right now), minus the metal. Never really got into that.

I don't watch a lot of movies, but as I learned to say while failing at my language practice, I like movies «qui te fait réfléchir» (make you think).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Looking up from planting, and seeing the spectacular view of Fraser Lake that I`d been ignoring all day, and then proceeding to plant the most trees I ever had up until that point.

Freight hopping.

Finishing the card game, War, in less than two rounds-- mind: blown.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make bread the old fashioned way, or a little bit about ballet, or give you a summary of a book that you forgot you read in your high school literature class.

I would love to learn how to make something food-wise that I can't screw up (besides coffee-- I've got that one covered).

And on that note, there's not much better than sharing a pot or press of coffee.
