About Me

Like a lot of sports: climbing (bouldering), hiking, swimming and more. Play drums and like many music styles. Like to go out (dance) and have a passion for nature and love gardening (Finally I've one now). I work at Ebusco (electric city bus company) as teamlead testing and homologation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back in 2017 I was traveling in Australia and it was really hard to find a place to stay in Sydney. I used Couchsurfing before to meet people, but never to stay the night. In Sydney I contacted some people and eventually I've got a really nice respond of a Australian couple. They were so friendly, I got a house key and we had dinner/bbq together. Even a Dutch friend was able to stay too for a couple of nights. When I came back in NL (more boring life haha) I reflected on my travel experience and found out that I most like to meet new people, for this Couchsurfing is the best. So, I decided to start hosting in spring 2018. Till now I've hosted a lot of people from different nationalities. In 2020 I moved to a new apartment (not as cosy as I lived before) in Eindhoven with my roommate Laura. She's from Spain and is an engineer too. Due to Corona we were not able to host people in our apartment for one year, but Pali and Anna were actually the first ones in June 2021! In summer 2022 I moved to Den Bosch with my girlfriend and like to welcome you in our nice house, so feel free to send a message and if we're home you're welcome!
