After having returned in 2016 from my longest travels by bicycle ever 38000km Netherlands to Nepal which more or less took 3 years to complete. A journey that opened my eyes even more to the beautiful world we have and how important it is that we take care of it. I now live in Copenhagen and will welcome you as my guest in my little home.

I am a open minded guy who enjoys travelling, adventure and good people. I have had my profile here on couch-surfing for years and used it on and of depending of where I was in my life. I am currently back working again and when there is time I try to get on the road and enjoy meeting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to meet people and a way to get a very unique insight to peoples lives around the globe. Besides this it really shows how generous people can be and in the end we are all people wanting the best for each other. As a guest I love sharing time with my host and talk about their lives and share a bit of my knowledge and as a Host I love to take care of my guests to make sure they can feel home.

The possibility Couchsurfing brings for us to share and meet is such a valuable thing and the people I have met a long my travels or home has brought me great insights to other cultures and there by changed the way i perceive the world.

I have now used Couchsurfing since 2007 when I first got to know about the site though a good friend and soon after I made a profile and through the years Couchsurfing has gained in popularity and this is so great to see. Although I think it is important to remain a hospitality site and not a place to find a free bed, I do my best to promote Couchsurfing as a social place and a place where we can learn much from each other.
