I am 27 y. o. guy from Ružomberok, Slovakia. I spent 2016-2021 in Prague studying at CTU, from 2022 I'm being employed in transport engineering sphere.

I would describe myself as easygoing, positively thinking, flexible, curious, funny man, who lives pretty active life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that Couchsurfing is the best possibility for people, who try getting to know different countries. Nothing is better than time spent with locals.
It's also wonderful opportunity to meet people with similar interests and share ideas and experiences.

In 2015 I backpacked around Europe with me brother. We crossed Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France and finally through Switzerland back to Austria and home. It was nice experience not only because of sightseeing, but also thanks to many nice people, who I had a pleasure to meet. And this was also the chance to experience CS for the first time. Thanks to Philip and Agatha from Basel it was unforgettable. Year later they visited us in Slovakia and in 2021 we visited them again. They even introduced us to Agatha's wonderful parents living in the Alps, who we visited two times since then.

Interests

My biggest obsession is sport. Sport in general, but mainly table tennis. From my early years I've been playing various regional competitions. Besides it I love bedminton, volleyball, football and tennis. However, I love not only playing it, but also watching it on TV with my friends - I find it perfect way for socializing.

For last 3 years I started enjoying trail running in our wonderful mountains. It's so cool to combine sport performance with those picturesque views. :) And it allows you to do such crazy things like running to the summit of a mountain to watch sunset or to make 3-days hike in 1 day. :-) I do also cycling, hiking and another outdoor activities. -I've made 3 Europe round trips
-I've slept on San Pietro square in Vatican
-I used to be steward on international night trains
-I've organized 10 children summer camps
-I've finished 55km/+3600m ultra trail running race
-I've successfully completed Half Ironman
-I've made solo running-skishoeing-skitouring trip to Dolomites as a reward for successful finish of my studies
-I've done 2 Lord of the rings extended edition marathons
