Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm excited to experience what its like to live in a different country. I've travelled to Europe and Asia before, but always with my family. This trip to Central and South America will be the first time I'll be travelling solo and experiencing each and every country.
I can't wait to fully immerse myself in the cities and towns I visit, and I believe that staying with someone kind enough to share their home with me will be the best way to do that.
I've talked with friends who have used Couchsurfing too, and all have positive things to say. They pushed me to sign up and give it a crack, so here it goes!

Music, Movies, and Books

I just love good music. I'm really into all things techno, progressive, and melodic. Though I'm also really into listening to the older tunes, classic jazz, rock, blues, hip-hop, dub, and reggae. Fine times and good vibes are what I'm looking for in music.
As for movies, I don't really have any favourites. If I'm by myself, I'd rather sit down and read a book. Some of my favourite writers include Murukami, Kerouac, Hunter S Thompson, and George Orwell. I also enjoy reading philosophy and economic centred books.
