关于我

CURRENT MISSION

"Give me a place to stand, and I shall move the world." - Archimedes

ABOUT ME

Once upon a time a thought sprang up in my mind to go to India. After 6 months so I did. While travelling through India I tought why not go to Bangladesh. Ok, I have come so far, so I shall not miss Myanmar. Myanamar as interesting as it can get and thats so close to China... Travelling is like an eternal bond.

If you are able to read german check my blog, m-in-india.blogspot.com and *brand new* m-in-africa.blogspot.com you will learn great a bunch of me.
For me travelling is meditation. The people you meet,
The things I care of and they way I live.

So if you have some time don't miss my public travel photos and videos on http://picasaweb.google.com/matthias.treitler

PHILOSOPHY

The universe in itself is the only absolute thing we humans can hold on. Everything else is relative to our imagination. Our universe strives towards complexity, but where does consciousness has its place on this scale? Is our mind really free as we always think? Of course I can think of everything I want but why can't I imagine a colour that I can't perceive with my eyes? Why are my consiousness and my dreams different the older I get? In considering the fact that my mind has been evolved und the same sense as my for example ten fingers who can we ever bevlieve that we are really free? Like life itself our perception is a film that makes us believe but hides so much other bits and pieces. No don't even try to think... the guy who thinks first will also be the first damned.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In daily life everything is about gaining experience. When you go to a job interview the first question is, how much experience do you have? 1 kg or 5 apples or which unit should I use? Whats all the fuss about experience? Why do we think the more experience we have the better we can master our living? I don't care about experience when at its climax I am dead already!!!!Its nonsense. Experience has no meaning, and is only used as a economic factor nowadays, to weigh people against each other! And so I don't travel for gaining experience and shouldn't either!!!

音乐、电影和书籍

I am into science stuff... like Dawkins, Diamond and even Hawkins. Yess... sometimes you need just this. Then there is Umberto Eco, which is its own genre. Don't laugh off a good science fiction and fantasy. There you always find good politics and interesting philosophy in it.And as a German of course the philosopher who smashes other books with his hammer. Now with my new Ebook Reader I have started reading a lot. I ve thrown out the TV from my window many months ago and all I do is reading in my free time. It is refreshing and exciting to pick up an unknown book. Keep things simple and thats what reading is all about.I love the Gutenberg project, with its tons of free timeless ebooks.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I tried hard to do same amazing things but always failed, because there is always something more amazing to do. I travelled alone in India and China. I hitchhiked alone from Vienna to Marocco and travelled for several months in Africa. Amazing things that I am proud of but it can also be simpler.Once upon a time I got up early and watched the sunrise. For me this was the most amazing thing done and seen.
