Hi my name is Max.

I'm 23 years old and was born and raised in Niederkassel, a small village next to one of the biggest cities in Germany: Cologne. After finishing school I started my studies that I finished in February, 2018. Subject was marketing and media.

The world is full of foreign countries, cultures and people, that make it a wonderful place.
I want to leave behind my known world for a while and find places where I can actually learn new relevant stuff.

About me:

I'm pretty tall (1,98 m) but very friendly to other people.
I appreciate people, that help even foreigners, like on this page and want to meet and thank them for what they are doing.
Travelling that far away from home is new to me, since I mostly travelled to other countries in Europe. But in my opinion it makes travelling even more exciting and interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all I love a social network based on people who share their homes and like to travel themselves.
It shows people that have a connection, even tho they don't know each other. Interests could be similar and each person can learn from another one and its culture.

Secondly it is helpful to me. Travelling to countries like Japan, Southkorea etc. can be a pretty expensive adventure. I would not have the money to stay in those countries for too long, even if I want to see and learn from it.

Music: I can listen to any music out there. I do sometimes prefer some kind of music like eletronic tunes, trap, Bounce etc. but the next day I'd like to listen to some classical stuff.
Movies: Lord of the rings, for sure!
Books: Harry Potter is clearly the winner!
