About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel will make you do things you would never do back home

ABOUT ME

they would say I'm full of life but not afraid to face the real world. I'm very loyal and will do anything to support my friends through anything! Not only do I stick by their side, but I know how to let loose, make a laugh and have a good time :)

PHILOSOPHY

Only time can tell what will happen. Life has so much to offer but once you stop and look around it might be all gone. There are so many available experiences for our lives, pick and choose wisely :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been hosted a total of three times but met plenty of people through couch surfing! I think this is a great way to be a traveler and really get your hands deep into the culture in a few amount of days!

Interests

Well to start off, I am the oldest of 9 kids!I have also been an AFS student, high-school exchange program, to Italy when I was 17. It was truely a life definining experience for me. I studied abroad in Bangkok from September 2012 until May of 2013. In my free time, I love to volunteer, read, listen to music and grab a cup of coffee with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music I love indie bands! I can pretty much listen to anything. As far as movies I'm a movie buff but my all time favorite is American Beauty. Favorite book is "Catcher in the rye" but favorite author is Haruki Murakami.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Koh Phi Phi <3 what bliss That weekend made me realize how Thailand is suck a beautiful country and always ceases to amaze me.

The second moment is when I came back from Italy, after being 6 months away from home. As soon as I arrived at the airport my family was holding a banner that said "welcome home" and my little sister, 4 at the time, came running up to me and jumped on me. That moment will be forever replayed in my head.

Europe & Morocco trip: July 16th 2014-May 4th 2015 :D

Happily married to an argentine <3

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a very firm believer of the AFS-USA mission and I think this could be applied to CS as well.

AFS-USA works toward a more just and peaceful world by providing international and intercultural learning experiences to individuals, families, schools, and communities through a global volunteer partnership.

CSers are willing travelers and open to learn inter culturally through kind CS hosts than can provide these experiences to CSers :) What I think really makes a difference is when a CSer coming back home from their amazing trip can talk about the French, Thais, Ghanians and diminish all of those pre-conceived notions and stereotypes so this world can be one :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Netherlands, Paraguay, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, Italy, Morocco, Thailand, United States
