Kind of aimless at the moment, traveling the world for work and fun. Ongoing mission is to continue to step outside my bubble.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Hawaii, which is probably why I'm pretty laid-back. I tend to be rather quiet in large groups, but I love talking to people (one on one, or in smaller groups) and learning about different cultures. I'm always open to new experiences and will always try things at least once.
Based in Los Angeles, working in theatre, often on tour. Also spent 2 years in Paris as an au pair, looking after 2 adorable kids. So if you want advice on where to go in any of the 3 above places, ask me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started couchsurfing when I was living abroad. I haven't been in a place to host, but I've surfed and gone to many CS events and met amazing people. Looking forward to when I have a place to host in.

Interests

Travelling (obviously), theatre (creating, reading, seeing, discussing), reading (especially at the beach or in parks), kayaking, swimming, and most things related to the ocean, good food!, concerts, photography.
I've always wanted to go ziplining and hang-gliding, but have never gotten a chance to.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most kinds of music (not particularly heavy metal or country), especially when it's live. Sinatra, Charlie Parker, Ray Charles, David Garrett, Bob Marley, Jake Shimabukuro, Bob Dylan, Brian Setzer, The Beatles, Metro Station, Franz Ferdinand are among the top of the list.

My reading is a bit eclectic. Favorite book: The Night Circus, The Eight. Favorite Plays: The Importance of Being Earnest, and A Perfect Ganesh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far, my favorite experience has been sitting on a medieval rampart on the coast of France, sharing a bottle of wine and watching the sunset.
