About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy the simple things of life, make dread locks (checked!), learn how to cook, to speak german and play the guitar!

ABOUT ME

I am desapointed CS has become a for profit corporation. After this unethical strike of CS directors, I decided to move gradually to the Bewelcome network.

I will answer you request here, but consider contacting me through www.bewelcome.org.

======================
My name is Jonas!

Actually, diversity is an important word for me. I like different places, different books, different foods and, specially, different people. From basketball to marxism, from dogs to sociology! And sharing is the best way to make it real!

PHILOSOPHY

As a friend once defined, I like to look on the good nature of evil and warn about the danger of good intentions. I like to think about how to find a kind of balance between reason and emotion in life. I'm searching for this balance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend told me about CS and I realized that this project is a kind of solidarity practice, related to that on what I've been studying, working and participating in the last years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My parents always received a lot of people from all the world at home (friends in general, from work, and friends of friends). During my adolescence I've shared my house and room with many people from the most different places in Brazil and some places abroad. We've participated too in a student exchange program. Some stayed with us for one year. Now, I'd like to share by my own.

Interests

Circus, Theater, Social Sciences, Solidarity Economy, Sports, Music, Dancing, Pets, Snooker, Vegetarian Food... as I said, diversity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I still haven't decided and I don't know if some day I will be able to pick one.

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I teach? this is a difficult question!

I can teach you how to teach some tricks and to comunicate with your dog.
And also to do juggling with 3 oranges.

But not both at the same time yet! =)
