I'm Micha. I'm from Essen. I'm "not" hard working carpenter searching for wealth and health outside of moneythinking and statussymbols. I'm working and travelling since two years already. On and off... Seems like the dream and I chosed it because of many privileges I have from that. I know it's time to settle soon but still sticking to vagabound live as I sometimes perceive it. Those of you who did travel a lot and tried to not always pay for accomodation or fancy food and get a work for money one's in a while know what I mean... It has freedom but it also has it's limits.
I'm always looking for the next rockclimbing session, honest, passionate hitchhiker, volunteerworker, festivalbuiltup-guy, sometimes drawing, sometimes playing music, overseahitchhiker, foreign language motivated and have good imagination which sometimes lead to funny, confusing spaghetties of reality. Life is kind of hilarious!
I must admit that it's hard in this world because I also got born in an comparatively stable state and a stable family and it's not always possible for me to think outside of the boxes which filled my reality for such a long time.
That's why travelling and fronting other livestyle's and people is so important! I'm unfortunately sometimes even ashamed of beeing german for several reasons. I'm working on that!

I don't have a permanet home for know. I actually even spended half of the year sleeping in my tent. So I'm sorry for not beeing able to host you at the moment. I'm actually visiting Japan for work and travel this year from february 2024 (open end). I might cary my tent with me but I have the feeling that I'm especially depending on japanese hospitality in this travel. I will be working for bed and board but inbetween those works I hop for some couches and cool people. I don't no japanese people and conventions a lot but I will get to know and hope you people help me to have a pleasant stay of many new experiences and lessons of life! So looking forward to meet you :)

Life is beutiful! Being grateful, being patient, being honest, being You, concentrating on the present moment life will treat us well. There is not enough time to spend life complaining!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to give something back to the world by inviting people to my home in germany as soon as I'm back again. I want to help, enjoy with others, share, teach and learn like people did with me when I was travelling.

Travelling I search for these unique experiences and insights of daily lifes realities which you can not have on your own couch or in a hostal or hotel abroad. I search for good talks, time spending, random situations, good food, music, art and friendly, honest people.
