About Me

I'm a 24 year old post-gradwho's enjoying his life, having the job he dreamt about and travelling on and off through the world. I've been living in Germany for 10 years, the southern German city Stuttgart is the place where I grew up. I moved with my parents to Russia where we've spent almost 12 years in the South, it's a nice place as well, and i can say it's a great experience to change your place of living so radical (but at the beginning it can be a bit painful). You learn to understand people of different cultures, speaking different languages and having different points of view. It helped me to be less judgemental and more polite to everyone. I love people, the world couldn't be so beautiful diversity of people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a pleasure to meet people, there can't be enough friends in your life. It makes traveling a more enjoyable experience as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love different music styles, but especially heavy ones - post-hardcore, metal- and deathcore, but jazz, indie and blues are fine as well. But it doesn't really matter, if you like any other style - I would love to join you and share your inspiration.

My favorite books - seems to be a little bit old fashioned but...

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.
The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien.
The Catcher in the Rye by J. D.
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to join the tourism industry and applied to be a tour guide and onboard interpreter, which was one of my best experiences ever. I've spent about 1 year on the Russian rivers guiding tourists from different countries, translating walking and bus tours, doing my own ones and telling people about Russian culture, history and geography (don't forget about traditional vodka tastings, there's a lot I can tell about as well). I visited about 20 different cities and regions, saw the most beautiful pearls of Russian architecture and nature. Unfortunately COVID-19 paralyzed tourism in general, but I hope to continue when things settle up.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be pleased to teach you a bit of German or English, and Russian, if you want to try.

What I Can Share with Hosts

German and English lessons, help with cleaning the flat and some Russian and German dishes, because I really love cooking. And certainly all my life and traveling experience I gained during my (partly stupid) adventures.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belarus, Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Russian Federation
