About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I just want to experience things that pique my interests, and a lot of those things include traveling and nature, and, well, possibly having some beers here and there!

ABOUT ME

I like sports and nature. Anything that includes both (i.e. snowboarding) are ideal. Music is also incredibly important to me. I make friends pretty easy and love to socialize and meet new people, so if you are going to be in Minnesota let me know!

PHILOSOPHY

Be positive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To put it bluntly, I just get out and do things that are interesting to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience yet on the website. Informally I crashed at friends' couches all around Minnesota.

Interests

Basketball, soccer(futbol), hockey, snowboarding, fishing and ice fishing, canoeing, snowmobiling, biking, hiking, music, socializing, exploring, basically general fitness, and craft beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Top 5 movies: The departed, crash, donnie darko, oh brother where art thou, kill bill vol 1+2.

Top 5 musical artists: ratatat, daft punk, aesop rock, edward sharpe and the magnetic zeroes, black keys.

Top 5 books: catch-22, 1984, watchmen, ulysses, the hobbit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving this last summer (which was pretty awesome), and would love to do it many, many more times!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am blanking out on the "teach" aspect of this, but I would like to learn as much as I can about the people of the world and how they live their lives. I have never been outside of the US and don't even have a passport.

If I could teach people anything, it would be fishing in the Minnesota wilderness. I have been fishing ever since I can remember, and it is very important to my family and peers. Hell, I even got taken out of school, by my father, on a "family emergency" multiple times just so we could go fishing! I don't do it as much as I would like to anymore, but the skills I have learned feel inherent. So if you ever wanna go fishing in Minnesota, on shore or on a boat, let me know.
