Connecting with new people and new cultures has always been an interest of mine. I struggle with being a perfectionist, as I try to excel in each thing I do, but having a pet has helped me realize that its ok if everything doesn't go quite as planned. I consider myself generous, compassionate, loyal, focused, and witty at times, and I appreciate these traits in others.

The whole concept of sharing space with strangers who may turn into friends is a terrific idea and provides great opportunity to us as human beings on the journey of life.

Interests

Family and friends, my dog, personal fitness, cooking, wine, history, and travel. I'm a huge sports fan, with hockey and soccer at the top, followed by football and baseball.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite actor at the moment is Robert Downey Jr., who is terrific in the Iron Man and Avengers series and gave a great performance this year in The Judge. I enjoy a variety of movies of all genres and my music tastes are broad, as well, with country, indie-folk, classical, rock and pop all included.
