I grew up in suburban Chicago but lived in Wellington, New Zealand for the last 10 years.

I'm into nature, especially hiking and diving - I love getting away from cities and remembering that we are all part of the greater ecosystem. I also really enjoy reading, yoga, swimming in the sea, surfing (very amateur), and wandering around new neighbourhoods discovering cool shops and cafes, that sort of thing.

I trained as a lawyer and have been working in Wellington for the last 5 years. At the end of 2014 I decided it was time for a new adventure, so I resigned from my job and left NZ. Now I'm travelling in Japan. My dream is to live and work in Tokyo. I hope to make it come true.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I really like vegetables.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking up Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Also recently I watched a sheep-shearing competition in New Zealand. It was smelly.
