Overview
About Me
I have worked and traveled to lots of places. I was a sailor,(both yachts and sailing boats such as the Bounty) and worked on Canadian oceanographic ships (Hudson, Kapuskasing and Baffin) ....lots and lots of smaller jobs, from, postman, actor, lumberjack, outfitter, security guard, lifeguard,Etc.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to use the guest services when Covid is under control but mostly, now, I'll be offering a berth and perhaps some stories and advice to travelers, here on the Cabot Trail. Happily accepting travelers (guests) from all over the World.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Music is 50's-60's-and 70's rock.
Favorite Movies are just about all, except, impossible action or impossible thriller type ones.
Favorite Books, I'm not a fast reader but I love to sit on Smokey and listen to Audio books from the library, so, I've liked all the classics, but also Louise Penny (all the Inspector Gamache series) and all the good mystery series' at the Agatha Christy level.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess my most amazing experience is that I was on the "Hudson 70" cruise a multi disciplined oceanographic trip where we circumnavigated the Americas doing scientific work all the way. First ship in history to circumnavigate all the way around both continents.
