About Me

About me | l've lived on both sides of the world, in France and in Tahiti, so I guess that it may explain the feeling that this world is both wide and small, resilient and fragile. So I've worked a lot in environment and sustainable development in a NGO I've founded in French Polynesia, together with lagoon stuff like corals, fiches and turtles.
Half man, half wolf and err... half something marine (yep, that's a lot a halves, but who cares), I'm working now in the Peninsula of Tahiti, a quite remote place, but also well situated as you can go everywhere from here.

Philosophy | As the trip is not a destination, with whom will you travel?

Social media : don’t look for me on Fb or elsewhere, I’ve left that kind of network.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm happy to travel and meet new persons. I really love the concept of couchsurfing and sharing besides.

Interests

Meeting people, sharing all kinds of passions, dive into (all) the beauties of the nature, trek (almost) everywhere, building things.

As it has been asked frequently to me, if you want to come with something to leave with me, well you can choose between rhum, chocolate or a good book. All of them are greatly appreciated.

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes in music are very eclectic, but turn around rock, blues and some good pop.
So this is the same for movies and books, eclectics, as soon as they are well written.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've dive with all kind of sharks, dolphins and also whales, worked with corals, fishes and marine turtles.
I've been in quite really remote areas of the planet, such as the wild Marquesas islands, the flat Tuamotu islands or the telluric Easter island, and amazing lost places in Peru and Iceland.

And, most of all, I've met and lived with fantastic persons.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach | Well, I speak French, so I can teach this particular and kind of delicate language (the language with thousand strange rules) ...
I can also mend or construct a quite wide variety of things and show how to do it.

Learn | I am really interested to improve my knowledges about the country and people I visit (or visit me), and then would love to share about this.

Share | We'll, we all have passions to share, and travels to show, so I would be very happy to share mine about wildlife, people and places I visited. I would also love to hear about you and your passions in life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share hidden places I know to trek, or dive, or climb, or swim, or just to be too peaceful.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cayman Islands, Chile, England, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, New Zealand, Peru, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, United States
