About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To eat street foods all over the world!

ABOUT ME

I'm easygoing, passionate and very very curious. A bit on the quiet side at the beginning. I'm a software engineer, rookie capoeirista, on-and-off volunteer and music lover born and raised in Mexico and now based in the US.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to couch surfing. I'm looking forward to surfing around the world meeting people, and occasionally hosting as long as my roommate has no problem with it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed twice but really enjoyed it! Looking forward to meeting more great people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Electronic, synth pop, indie rock and indie pop. Also into bossa nova, tango, classical and opera.

Movies - Among my favorites are: The lives of others, The secret life of words, Lost in Translation, Revolutionary Road, Closer and Shame.

Books - Enjoy interesting nonfiction mostly about politics or social research and thought provoking fiction. I'm a Hesse fan. I also enjoy latinamerican literature, specially the short stories. Recent fan of Teju Cole and George Saunders. Reading is one of my main hobbies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to a Daft Punk concert with my best friend and then stealing posters from electricity poles.
Horseback riding through the forest near my hometown with my dad on a very foggy morning.
Shared lunch with an indigenous family in Peru as they took a break from planting corn.
Helped bring marriage equality to Washington State!
