Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I'm looking for a real local experience; meeting locals or expats living in a foreign country, listening to urban legends and stories, visiting markets, hidden treasures and districts, tasting local foods and drinks etc.

Otherwise I like the concept of sharing.....let that be a story, an experience, a journey, a drink or accommodation and so on....

Interests

Well....believe it or not I love travelling (physical or mental) - but let's be honest who doesn't? :-)...and if there's someone who hates it....s(he) is not normal anyway.... ;-)

I appreciate good coffee, drinks and food for my stomach and for thoughts. I always have to visit local markets wherever I go. I love just sitting in a local coffee house and observing people and life, having ad hoc chats or inspiring conversations with friends and locals....or just walking in the city or cycling to the countryside.

Others include (the general stuff): watching good movies, reading and taking photos....

Hard one....
Movies - I don't know how to answer this question....so I'd rather not.
TV Shows (the biggest favorite) Northern Exposure
Music: lot of genres except for Scooter (don't ask me why), very brutal metal/punk, Irish and Scottish folk music.
Books: don't really have time for reading.....last time I read Murakami and Philip K. Dick.
