HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At this time i don't have a couch to offer. I'm traveling so wherever I am would be happy to share my travel and life experiences with hosts and learn from them about their culture.

Interests

Music, art and social justice! Keeping a balance in a technology driven world by maintaining contact with nature and people. If that's not possible? Then cooking is a good alternative!

Electronic music...but generally all 'good' music, any genre, from Bach to Kraftwerk, and whatever is next.
Early 20th c fiction like Steinbeck and Sinclair Lewis; films from Billy Wilder and Hitchcock to the Cohen bros. Documentaries in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming face to face with a painting by Matisse that I had seen many times in books. I didn't know it was to be in an exhibition, then I turned a corner and there it was. Took my breath away.
Driving along the coast of Big Sur, so beautiful. Same with the karsts in Thailand, spectacular.
Can't wait to see the Amalfi coast in Italy and the levada walks in Madeira... nature is my favorite 'architect'.
