About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To die with the least amount of money and the most incredible stories.

ABOUT ME

I'm artsy and introverted and creative and I like to read more than I like to do much else. I travel, but not as much as I'd like. I make food for people when I care about them. My guitar is mint green with a mermaid painted on it- that's the kind of whimsical sucker I am. I know a bit about farming. There's not much I won't do for good pancakes. I'm secretly an 80 year old grandma inside and I'm very sensitive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined this site for the ridesharing and small-village feel of the community. When I get more established, I'm hoping to open my home to other travellers and provide a meaningful rest stop.

Interests

If it involves making something, I like it: cooking, baking, crafts, music, knitting, writing... I read more than I do most things and I like books a whole lot. I'm interested in art and culture as well as history.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Lord of the Flies, the Crucible, A Song of Ice and Fire, Gone with the Wind, Kite Runner, Hey Nostradamus!, Picture of Dorian Grey, Time Traveler's Wife, Indigenous Beasts... I'll read anything, really.

Movies: Good Will Hunting .... um... I haven't seen a ton of movies.

Music: Pretty well anything without an electronic backbeat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to travel to a really remote part of Guatemala, which was amazing and absolutely stunning. Also, I was once attacked by gypsies in Paris and that was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've got a very odd skill set. I'm sure there's something I can teach and there's always so much to learn.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, France, Guatemala, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, New Zealand
