About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To glow with life and love and adventure. To make people laugh with my dirty jokes. To love the wintertime. To try not to kill my houseplants. To read every day, and to learn to love all that come into my life. Not easy.

ABOUT ME

"I've never been afraid to dream big and jump in feet first, no matter the cost or consequences." - Heather "Anish" Anderson

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I stump for CS whenever I can, to people who are traveling outside of the country or inside the country, or just need a place to stay in town. I promote biking, hitchiking, and carsharing as ways to get around while building a sense of community and responsibility.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every time i've couchsurfed it has made my trip so much better and more fun.

Interests

Snowboarding, rock climbing, biking, downhill mountain biking, jumping off waterfalls, surfing (hopefully)
Yoga, Kickboxing, old school super mario, egg sandwiches, ginger candy, summer festivals

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm 35 and I'm healthy, have amazing supportive family and friends and all my teeth. I think thats pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Buy a trailer for your bike and use it for everything from groceries to transporting your cat to the vet. It seriously changed my life.
Take people up on any and every opportunity they offer to you! Even if its inconvenient. Its a hard habit to form but so worth it.
Make dinner with your friends.
Have a retirement account. And a good tent.
Collect something.
Send a postcard.
When you get a drink at a bar, know what you want, have your money in your hand, smile and make eye contact, make it simple, and keep an open tab. Tip well and you will never wait for a drink again.
And really, all we really need in life are friends, memories, and skills. Everything else ends up not really mattering that much.
