Both of us are vaccinated!

Hi everybody, we created this profile together (Lucia and Nahuel). The dog in the pic is our little son Kim! (if you don't like dogs this is not your place hehe). Me and Lucia speak (poorly) in English, but we think that its enough to communicate! In the other hand, I can speak (more less) fluently in Serbo-Croatian (Serbian and Croatian, if you prefer). My Russian is intermediate level as well 🇦🇷🇺🇲🇧🇦🇭🇷🇷🇸🇷🇺.

⚠️ We expect from our guests:

✅ To follow the house rules and help maintain order.
🐺 To respect our dog and be patient with him (he's likely to insist on playing and spending time together).
🧹 To assist us with household chores during their stay.

Some facts about us;

🧔🏻‍♂️ Nahuel; medical doctor currently working in PhD thesis (molecular biology of cancer is the topic). I like beer, dogs, Slavic languages, Go/baduk/Weiqi game, Airsoft and programming in Java language!

👩🏻 Lucia: student in psychology university from Rosario. I have a part time job as well, I like all animals (even I had all kind of pets during my life), I like vintage style, dancing, yoga, and play Go and Airsoft as well (Nahuel and me are in the same Airsoft team actually).

We have a diet oriented towards vegetarianism, although occasionally we eat fish.

Baš bih volio ugostiti ljude s Balkana! Budući da sam imao priliku da studiram dva semestra u Zagrebu (usavršavao svoj jezik tamo stižući do C1) i samo lijepe uspomene imam iz tih krajeva! Dok sam bio u Hr sam putovao dosta i se družio s ljudima iz svih bivših jugoslavenskih država pa mi hrvatski je pomalo miješano sa žargonom tih prostora! Lu i ja smo veliki fanovi balkanske muzike (klasične grupe tipa zabranjeno pušenje, parni valjak, SARS…). Ako je naš grad u tvojim planovima putovanja samo nam piši!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All my life I wished to travel to Russia, and finally I could do it with a Russian friend (2017). We did it during Russian winter, to make it an actual challenge! (Not really, we had not choice, me and my friend hate winter) During the trip to Russia friend’s family invited to me to a traditional Russian stuff. Why not? I thought at first! It was Day of Epiphany and traditionally Russians are used to bath in frozen river and I didn’t know that. The day became very quickly and I found myself entering to a frozen river in Kursk, with -17C. I don’t know how I survived, but I could. After that they had to help me to dress up because I couldn’t feel anything. After that we finished the day with vodka and meat (then I wasn’t veggie yet). The next day they told me that my new name is “Feofan”; it was a baptism. It was funny to me because I am not religious at all, but I loved this Russian name and clearly it was easier for them to pronounce than my original name. Since then, I became Feofan :D

During the my first visit to Lucia’s father house in another town, we thought that could be a great idea ride horse together. The situation became a amazing bad idea when horse, without apparent reason, started running...we end up hospitalised this day xD ok maybe it’s not so funny story
