About Me

New Zealand born, Australian raised mechanical engineer who loves to smile, laugh and meet interesting people.

I've recently travelled 37,000kms through the USA and Canada to make new friends, learn more about people and cultures, develop some lasting relationships and gain some great life stories to share with others. I find travelling helps me find out what kind of person I am and what kind of person I want to be.

The things I believe in are equality, respect, living a minimalistic life as possible, laughing as much as possible, not judging people, having the smallest environmental footprint possible, meeting new and interesting people and generally having an interesting life.

I'm currently based out of Vancouver, Canada on a two year work visa though haven't brought myself to start working yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently travelling east across Canada and west across the U.S. Since travelling I have been hosted by around 20 people and I now I truly understand why this awesome community exists. Its not about simply saving money, or a free place to stay, it's about meeting people, sharing stories and getting a richer experience during your travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
