About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Host travelers. Build Karma. Learn stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

Sharing is Caring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted lots of surfers (sometimes even the same surfers more than once) in all the various places I've lived in California. After 6 years I feel I've finally settled in Oakland and am hoping to start having some surfers over. When you can't travel yourself, hosting is the next best thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a lot, formally and informally, in Europe, South America and most recently in Japan. Amazing people and experiences. I have had a lot of fun hosting surfers from all over on our couches here in California. Hosting is good fun.

Interests

I really dig cooking fun meals. I cook a lot and think dinner parties rule. I am fascinated by languages and love learning new ones. Live music. Going out dancing. Riding my bike around town. Cameras and taking pictures. Learning.

I volunteered at a monkey rescue center in Ecuador in May 2011. That pretty much changed my life.
