About Me

*I do not host single male travelers*

I was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with thick Ukrainian roots! Slava Ukraini! ✊🩵💛 I've moved around Canada over the years and I'm currently settled in Edmonton, Alberta.
I have been a vegan for the last 3 years and working towards a wfpb lifestyle! You do not have to be vegan to be my friend! Haha!
I love learning new things, seeing new sights, experiencing new experiences, meeting new people, but most importantly, I love making a difference in peoples lives.

In April 2023 I started my own business! It's called Advocate Fundraising - dedicated to supporting the fundraising needs of nonprofits and small businesses. It's a work from "home" job, and by "home" I mean anywhere! It does also mean I dedicate a lot of my week to work, to ensure its/my success - because - I LOVE WHAT I DO. Whether you're a host or a surfer, I hope that I have enough time to put my work aside and spend some time with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I backpacked through Europe in 2016 and I stayed with hosts (different email account). Now that I am home I am still interested in the couchsurfing experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, what I decide to listen to today will depend on my mood!

Movies: I am a huge fan of documentaries, comedies and action. All time favorite movies are "V for Vendetta" and "A Girl Like Her".

As for books, I like to indulge in history or personal growth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started a movement in Saskatoon, every year on February 14th I host an event in solidarity with the rest of Canada. The movement is called Missing and Murdered Indegenous Womens March. We aim for a political inquiry into the 1200 women who are "just a statistic".

Teach, Learn, Share

I have LEARNed a lot of lessons in my life, most of them were the hard way... But these lessons have helped me grow. I aim to SHARE these lessons to TEACH others... To help Guide them.
I love when others can do the same for me. We are never to old or to young to learn something new, and we are definately never to old or young to make a difference in another persons life.

“We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow. old because we stop playing.” -George Bernard Sha.

My favorite quote is "Be the change you wish to see in the world." - while Mahatma Gandhi gets credit for this quote, this is not actually what he said. Google it if you don't believe me!

Слава Україні 🩵💛
