I also slept on a lot of couches, floors, and the like while touring with my old band Kentucky Sound Arsenal . . .good times

The classics!

FILM: I dig directors that are (or were) consistently brilliant, such as Paul Thomas Anderson, Hitchcock, Kubrick, Tarantino, Coen bros., Mike Leigh, Gallo made a good one (Buffalo '66). Also anything with the great leads - Pacino, De Niro, Newman, Streep, Nicholson, etc.

MUSIC: WAY too much to list, literally everything from polished girl pop (bjork, florence + the machine, imogen heap) to technical death metal (job for a cowboy, A Black Rose Burial, etc.) . . .plus everything in between those extremes (creative hip hop - DOOMTREE, Sage Frances, POS, Saul Williams, etc.) and indie and folk/singer songwriter (bon iver, simon & garfunkel, etc.).

LIT: Bukowski, Fante, Celine, Vonnegut, Eggers, Selby Jr.
