Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For a more stable way of sleeping during trips than asking random locals if I can hang up my hammock in their garden.

Interests

Cycling - I like long, challenging bicycle trips, especially if I have plenty of time to explore the areas I'm visiting.

Adventure - Getting out of my comfort zone and experiencing new things is something I love and know I will never regret, even if it is really challenging.

Meeting new people - Getting to know strangers is a great way to learn and have fun. Maybe it is even a great fit and I will stay in good touch. Had we not met or confronted each other, we would never have known.

Authenticity - I like it when people are unique. I have noticed the only people I kept in long term touch with and people who very different from most.

Spontaneity - Sudden and surprising new experiences are the ones that I remember most.
