I am a second year law student from country of Georgia. I have been living in the U.S. since summer 2017. I like traveling and meeting new people. I have visited a dozen countries and have friends all over the globe on every continent (well, except for Antarctica).

I am very easygoing and outdoorsy person. I love hiking, walking, and just getting lost in new cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first started Couchsurfing in 2008 as a means to meet new people when I lived in Georgia. Back then I did not speak English well. So I decided to meet as many foreigners as possible to master my language skills. I learned most of English by communicating with native speakers. It's been a while since I hosted a Couchsurfer. As I am finishing up the law school, I want to get back to it.

For now, I am going to LA for two months to do my externship at Court of Appeals in LA. Because the position is unpaid, I cannot afford the rent. I decided to Couchsurf and meet someone new because I literally know no-one on the west coast.

As of now, I have watched 1,564 movies and 153 TV Shows. I used to be a self-announced film critic back home but gave it up for a law degree.

In music, I like little bit of everything from classic to electronic. However, I've loved Queen since I was 10 and it will never change.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 13 I won European Math Olympics.

I also backpacked through mountains of Georgia for three straight weeks.

I also tore my ACL the first time I got on snowboard :(
