About Me

I'm a curious and talkative person who likes to listen to others as much as to talk to them. Insofar I would say that I'm an easy-going person (but all the Couchsurfers are writting the same thing in their profil...). I tend to try to go out my confort zones, I hate being putted in a particular category, and appreciate to find out that persons who I've mentality placed in boxes don't belong to them! As a quite sensitive person, I give attention to small details and can spend long time starring at something and trying to understand what I'm focussing on.

Long discussions, long walks are definitely my things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling alone. It's for me the best occasion to really be in a new place and fully immerse myself in it (and in myself). But most of the time, I miss a lot of things by meeting only others travellers in youth hostels that are looking always exactly the same.

I've already made two trips with Couchsurfing and had really nice and different moments with my hosts. I found it great, how these circumstances bring different people quick together and how these short and mostly particular moments sometimes leave life-long memories even if we don't stay necesarily in touch.
I also love to discover one's universe (friends, house, family, etc.) I surely would never have met without this trip. It's crazy how memories of a foreign place remain more detailed and intense when we link it with encounters.

So that's why I'm looking forward other great CS experiences!

I've never been able to host any CSer because I move all the time, but I can't wait to settle down for more than a few months somewhere and open my door to CSers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped into an old self-made-hydrogen-powered motor home drove by an allegedly moon-meteorite-seller with an obese cat while hitch-hicking around Gaspésie at maximal speed (on hills) of almost 40km/h!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have any special abality, BUT as french is my mother tongue, I already know this hard language and I'd be proud to teach you some words and expressions to show you the way leading to the wonderfull universe of French ;)
I always wanted to learn as many languages as possible: since I was a child, I've always been fascinated by languages of the countries I've visited. I tried to learn (alone) greek, mandarin and japanese. I gaved up but I'm still proud to know and understand three or four words, and in so far I don't consider these experiences as failures! Friends are laughing at me because each year of my study I'm starting a new language which become a full time passion... My new linguistic passion above all is arabic. I'm learning arabiyya al fusHa since a year and a half, and hope to keep motivation enough to understand a little little bit of the songs I hear to.

I'd be glad to catch a few words of the mother tongue of each person I'll meet!

What I Can Share with Hosts
