ABOUT ME

I'm usually described as an ironic, cynical, sometimes even sarcastic person, but deep down I have a really caring heart.

Some characters from popular culture which may show some similarities with me are:
Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice) - not the wealth
Dr. Gregory House (TV serial) - not the leg
Elvis Presley (singer, sex symbol) - not the voice
Ron Swanson (Parks and Rec) - not the mustache

On the longest run I would like to end up on coins and stamps, other than that, I'm just trying to make the most of every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting people and taking part in some of the local CS events every now and then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed around Poland and the Czech Republic in the summer of 2008, then Slovenia in the summer of 2009.
In 2010 I was mostly away, but my parents were nice enough to let surfers into my empty room back home.
Since I moved to Feldkirch it's been only about hosting.

Interests

food, wine, sports, literature, history, backgammon etc...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
rock, jazz, classical, folk
Books:
The works of Borges from the internationally known ones, and some Hungarian writers as well.
Movies:
I try to watch as few movies as possible in order to get more fresh air, but drama series as The Wire and sitcoms like Community are still likely to show up on my screen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee-jumping, if that counts here.
Moving abroad was also kind of a big deal.
