About Me

Hey there, I'm quite new to this community and being a full-time traveler I have to admit that I feel like I’m missing out and I really meet a lot of people around who shared great sorties about this platform which really motivated me to embark in

I grow up in Bordeaux 🇫🇷, I'm a Programmer 👨‍💻, a former UN Volunteer 🇺🇳 and a full-time traveler 🧳 and Workaway Volunteer ☮️ and a representative of an environmental organization called “Les Soulèvements de La Terre” in Toulouse 2021-2023 ♻️, I also used to work as Sports Coach For Disabled Children in summer camps around the world 🛟

I can speak French 🇫🇷 and English 🇬🇧 fluently, and additionally some German 🇩🇪 and I’ll be more than happy to teach you my languages and learn about yours

I'm driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the world and help others and if I feel passionate enough about a specific case or humanitarian issue in any part of the world, I tend to feel compelled to contribute my time, skills and efforts to address it ☮️🕊️

Although I’m quite new to this community, I understand the need of references, so I can provide references from my previous hosts in WorkAway and WWOOF and the other NGO’s that I have volunteered at, and I’m pretty sure most of them would also be happy to provide you with confidential references if you reach out

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first heard out about CS back in 2018 when I was volunteering in a Summer Camp in Spain from other volunteers out there, and I have to admit that at first I was quite skeptical about CS even though I have managed to sign up in the platform, but back then I lacked the motivation to write anything on my profile, but the more I have traveled around world I kept hearing about it and how similar it is to WorkAway in way that it offers similar opportunity to connect with diverse cultures, forge meaningful friendships, and gain authentic local insights while traveling

Personally speaking, I think traveling journeys should be measured in friends rather than miles, and now I’m finally in, I’m super excited to use it alongside WorkAway to explore different cultures and make friends, either by offering my house to other people, or surfing while I travel the world 🌎 🗺️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have volunteered for 3 years in a row in three different continents (mostly through WorkAway and the European Solidarity Corps) and I show no sign of slowing down 🥇🏆

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you learn or practice the languages I know and the efficient techniques that I used to learn them, and we can definitely exchange all our stories and experiences

I’m a very practical and adaptive guy and also I wouldn’t mind helping you out with anything you need help with during my stay

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation and company, being a real friend, again I'll be more than happy to help out around the house, I'm very respectful and I take home and schedules seriously, I'm no stranger of being a guest in other people's homes and communication skills are my strongest assets, I also consider myself to be very clean person and I take great care of my environments

I also like to send postcards of my travels to my past hosts to keep in touch and to remind them of how they have helped me to keep doing the thing that I love, my goal is to have at least a 100 friend in all continents ☮️🌍
