As an epicurean I enjoy finding and enjoying the best of all things. I enjoy my garden and the general out-of-doors. I've traveled many parts of East Asia and hope to get to all other points in the future. I'm always up for an adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends have had great experiences with surfing, as both hosts and guests, and I hope for some of that.

I'm interested in building and sustaining communities through physical and social design based on the principles of Permaculture. I often meet with individuals or small groups to create that change over a good meal or casual drink.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nearly died after trying to summit a mountain on a sub-tropical island, en route to an ancient cedar tree, by getting stuck in the fall out of a snow storm. Completed the route on foot with a team of rescuers who came to find me.
