I hate writing about me's so I promise this isn't going to actually be able to capture my personality but here goes nothing:

My absolute favorite thing to do is travel, all aspects of it too. I love the process of deciding your destination, planning and researching the actual trip, obviously exploring new cities and cultures and even being that annoying person who can only talk about their 'crazy, amazing adventure that you can only imagine if you were there' (though I try to avoid those words when possible).

I'm outgoing (at least this is what I'm told) and enjoy sharing stories and laughing (what a cliche). I don't believe in judging others for their mistakes because let's be honest we've all made stupid decisions that at the time sounded great. My motto tends to be "We make poor decisions with great intentions".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have come to the conclusion that travelers are the very best kind of people. Solo traveling is my favorite kind of adventure simply because it forces me to step outside of my comfort zones. Couchsurfing encompasses the community aspect that becoming an avid traveler creates. I have been telling people for years to come stay on my couch and let me show you around my city and couchsurfing is a community completely dedicated to this very same idea!

Interests

As mentioned above travel is my passion but I also love movies, travel, eating, getting lost in new cities, shooting the shit with friends and I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy a few glasses of wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a terrible singer but if I can sing and dance along I'm happy.

As far as movies and books it's going to sound lame but I don't exactly have favorites, they tend to come in waves. The movie I tell people is my favorite is called The Hunt (it's a german film). My favorite trilogy is called the All Souls trilogy (basically a mix of history and fantasy... kinda) and I just read a beyond gripping book called Here are all the young men but I don't think I can claim it as my favorite because it's too heavy to ever want to pick up again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We traveled the coast of Croatia, bus hopping and camping and quickly fell in love with the amazing country. This lead us to immediately booking our next trip there but this time included an Electronic music festival, a tent, hitchhiking, a taxi boat and warm bottles of red wine!
