My name is oumar but they call me Omy,that's my rapper name.I don't smoke neither drink. I am a very open minded and humble and modest person who wants to meet with new persons.Am peaceful and hardly get angry I love delicious stories and good music as well.Am always hospitable and never unkind.I am somebody who loves people and kids.I am very good in communication, i speak several languages. Am always positif, Optimistic and open to the world.Am also a lover of Culture,Art,Music,Trip.
I am a cultural actor.being president of the APESCC (Association for the Economic, Social and Cultural Promotion of Cassa), i organize cultural events, including concerts to exteriorize different cultures of my area embodied by different ethnic groups that live in perfect harmony (Jola,Mandinka,Wolof,pular,Toucouleur,Serer,Mandiango,Mankagne,Balante and so on). Apart from Association events, Cultural ceremonies ,concerts and festivals are organised in Ziguinchor or in it's surrounding villages from times to time to express different cultures.I know Senegal very well and especially my region which is the best in Senegal.I have traveled extensively in The Gambia and I know it very well as well. I live in the natural region of Casamance,precisely in Ziguinchor, a region of Senegal located in the south.I spent most of my time in Cap skirring.Cap skirring is à tourist place that is 70 km or 1h of drive from Ziguinchor.Cap skirring has the best beach in Senegal and among the best in West Africa.
I want to show surfers the real Sénégal but specially my birth place that is the green Casamance.There are many interesting things to see here, as far as Art is concerned but also Monuments and many sacred places to visite. I hosted Couchsurfing friends from Holland,United Kingdom and France.I made them enjoy very well their stay in here.
My erea is rich in its merverlous rivers,islands,art and multiple cultures.There are many amazing islands to visite across rivers lined by mangroves rich in Oyster and fish and other seafood.Here you can go anywhere you want safely in the day or in the night.people are very kind and lovely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to make new friends and experience so am on it to meet lot of people from different contries around the world to see more and have good relationships: profetional or others.
Am also on Couchsurfing not only to know différent stories culture and countries but also to share my stories and my culture and m'y tradition that are very rich and diverse.
I have so many things to show surfers but also to learn from them and learn cultures and traditions of other countries of the world.
