ABOUT ME

I work with Adults in Substance abuse recovery and plan to finish my education in Psychology. I enjoy travel, meeting new people, experiencing new activities, dancing, music, art, and good food.

I am fifth generation Arizonan so my roots there run deep. I come from a salt of the earth heritage and try my best to live a minimalist lifestyle. I have a genuine interest in learning and therefore love everything new. I listen more than I talk and watch more than I act. But when it comes time to act I try to make it count.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently Im not able to host people out of respect to my roommates but I would be extremely excited to meet with anyone visiting Salt Lake to show them around. In addition if you have any questions about Arizona Id be glad to help out anyway possible and maybe even set you up with some friends there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My good friend Greg and I took a month long trip all across the U.S. staying with Couchsurfers along the way. It was by far one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. The couchsurfing project has given me a deeper appreciation for and understanding of my fellow man.

I'm trying to make travel a lifestyle rather than a interest. There's so much to see and do in the world and I hope to know my self by experience the lives of others.

I spend my free time enjoying music, art, and food. I'm learning to play drums, I love street and popular art, and I enjoy experimenting with new recipes weekly.

My music taste is rooted in punk rock and Ska but I find I cycle through nearly every genre in 3 month increments. I love action and comedy movies and I have a huge list of books im working my way through to become the well rounded man.

My favorite Bands include: Rx Bandits, Cobra Skulls, Against Me!, Anti-Flag, Streetlight Manifesto, Big D and the Kids Table, Dead to Me, Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, Stars, Joshua James, Death From Above, Girl Talk, Lady Gaga, Ratatat, Gorillaz, Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco, Paris Jones and anything with Danger Mouse.

I was able to Ride on a float during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I also got a blue ribbon in my 3rd grade science fair.
