About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn Spanish and earn enough money to travel the world

ABOUT ME

I live in Brisbane with my beautiful wife and work as the Membership Sales Executive for the Restaurant and Catering Association of Australia. I am attempting to conquer the seeming impossible task of learning Spanish. I recently married my beautiful wife in Bogota which was an amazing experience. I love couch surfers and truly believe they are the most amazing people on earth. While I haven't participated in couchsurfing for a while, I am keen to become more involved.

PHILOSOPHY

I always take life with a grain of salt, ...plus a slice of lemon, ...and a shot of tequila.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I loved hosting while living in Outback Queensland. I couldnt have asked for better people. I intended to particpate in a lot more events when i moved to Brisbane and the Gold Coast but life has been pretty hectic lately and I am attempting to save for my wedding and sharing an apartment. When I get my own place again soon I would love to start hosting once more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have had amazing experiences hosting fellow couchsurfers, and I couldn't have hoped to have met better people. Couchsurfers are such lovely, happy people. Keep them coming I say!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Bangkok was a real eye-opener and a fantastic experience. It may not seem like a big deal, but it was completely different to anywhere I have been before and the first time I have been overseas by myself. However I'm sure there are more amazing things to come in the future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently learning Spanish do if anyone could help that would be fantastic

I also want to open people's eyes to the wonder that is Colombia. There is a lot of hesitation and fear towards Colombia, but this, as I found out, is completely under false pretences. It is such an amazing open country that has some of the most beautiful people and landscapes anywhere in the world. Having recently gotten married in Colombia it was fantastic that my family could also experience this country and open their eyes to their fantastic culture and amazing country.

Countries I’ve Visited
