I make big and fantastic plans, that often dont really cover the finer details and go on them anyway.
I am an engineer. This should probably mean I should be better at the finer details...

To make it possible to meet people and see places and experience things that wouldn't come about otherwise.

A personal take on a city is worth a hundred guide books. You cant have a beer with one.

I read Lonesome Dove and now want to buy a horse and ride across America.
Into the Wild started me wild camping, the film and Eddie Vedder got me to buy a mandolin.
I'm starting to get into scarier books, I'm steadily working through Steven King's catalogue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My last trip I built a Canadian canoe, drove to Ingolstadt In the south of Germany and paddled 150 km to the town on Straubing for a beer festival. I cant speak highly enough of the people I met along the way or the amazing sites from the river Danube.
