Paul - Raised in Ontario, live on Vancouver Island by choice. I'm an accountant by trade, and for the past five years I have worked with local, front line organizations developing rural communities. I enjoy good friends, good conversation and crosswords.

Jolleen - From Vancouver Island. First Nations. Completed a degree in tourism management. I work for the BC Government. I enjoy going on adventures to waterfalls and mountain tops. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world seems more pessimistic and cynical than I remember growing up. I think the cure for that is connecting with like minded individuals and sharing stories, ideas and drinks.
