ABOUT ME

My name is Paulo Imbali, I am a friendly and easygoing person,. I live in Bissau . I'm an English teacher. I love what I do. we teach one hundred children aged 3 to 7. We educate them because their parents can't afford to pay the school fee. If you come you can visit them and they will be delighted to see you. If you have any means possible to help them then they will appreciate your support. I hope you will like to live here and even swim in a famous river on weekends. There you can see the real rural life and see how people live in Guinea Bissau.

We welcome everyone with open arms.

Everybody is welcome at my place. I'm very happy to have foreigners staying at my place so I can show them my culture and lifestyle.

Please note that I work in Bissau as an English teacher.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2013, I met a belgian guy on the streets of Bula, the village where I worked as a teacher. I invited him to my home in Bissau and he introduced me to Facebook and Couchsurfing. I love the idea of both of the websites and I really hope to see some of you guys at my place in Bissau!

I have a project.

In the short-term created plan to build a school for my people. where we can reduce illiteracy and help to educate our youth.

I have a dream to create and to make one of the best schools in the nation near my neighborhood. My plan is to create the ways to do that. I already have a plot of land and I am lack of means to start building a school to help my community in Bissalanca, I came through this to ask whoever has Mercy on these children please, help them to build a school 🏫.

I can teach English, Portuguese and Creole. I can show you my culture and the way we live. If you come on weekends, I can probably show you around the city or go to some surrounding villages (where I grew up) with you.

We can visit the town, go to near by village where my father is living and there is a small river where people swim and enjoy. I hope everyone will like it. Luco is a famous branch of a river and it's close to the city center and people go there every weekend. I think if you come, you will be interested to know there and I will be willing to take you there.
