À propos de moi

I’ve been living almost 5 years in Costa Rica, working in sustainable agriculture, which as far as accidental career paths go seems to have worked out pretty well - it has let me spend extended periods in the middle east, the Philippines, and now brought me back here to Central America. Always happy to meet people for a chat, food, a drink, or an impulsive, foolhardy adventure...

I do still travel a lot, so not always available (and too lazy to update my CS calendar) but if I’m home I’m usually very happy to host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I was living in Iloilo City (Philippines) I hosted quite a few people, and enjoyed hanging out with the local CSers.

Also stayed with a CS host in Canada, hung out with a bunch in Germany, and worked in a permaculture project in Palestine that received many, many CSers (most of them great people!) and am member of a similar group aimed at touring cyclists, and so have both hosted and visited many interesting long-distance cyclists!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Pretty diverse tastes, impossible to name favourites. However, here's some that I feel every should have in their lives:
Books:
The Feast of the Goat (Mario Vargas Llosa)
Middlesex (Jeffrey Eugenides)
Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy series (Douglas Adams)

Movies:
Trainspotting
Black Cat, White Cat
The entire David Attenborough catalogue

Music:
Really too much... Loving a Reggae and Dub podcast at the moment, but every so often need to let off steam to some dirty techno!
